Our Characters

Marlon "Bucky T Clown" Miller
Bucky began life as a cowboy character clown to fill a need in a children's ministry. He has since grown into the roll of sometimes just being a clown. LOOK, UP IN THE SKY!!! You won't find him there. Bucky is well grounded and full of fun and laughter. You may find him singing and playing an instrument, bending balloons, performing semi-amazing feats of prestidigitation, or just clowning around.
Bucky's ministry roll has diminished over the years. He has learned over time that being in full clown while drawing many children to the front, it is mostly to see the clown. Bucky may minister in a service but will usually absent himself and allow Marlon to make the altar call.
Linda Miller
Linda is the driving force behind the puppet ministry of Abundant Laughter. She is an excellent puppeteer and trains any new members in basic puppetry, puppet choreography, and lip sync. In her hands puppets come to life. Linda has been a Sunday school teacher for a number of years with a strong background in biblical studies after completing the Excel program of Texas Bible College distant studies. Linda has been blessed with an eye and talent of decoration that allows her to take a simple puppet stage and turn it into an extravagant set. Email
Laminda "Q-T" Miller
Laminda is our resident ventriloquist. At the age of 6 she asked and was allowed to perform a puppet skit for the Kindergarten Sunday school class. Her first performance was such an instant hit she continued to perform and eventually moved into ventriloguism. She has several friends who enjoy the limelight with her including Jack Rabbit, Shelley, and Harry. She is always looking for new material but loves to perform off-the-cuff against Bucky. Laminda and Jack were Silver Award recipients at the One Way Street puppetry festival in Fort Worth, Tx in 2006 and again in Desoto, Tx. in 2007. Laminda's other roles include stage puppeteer and sometimes clown.
